With this unique collection, WEIGLA proves once again that it not only excels in traditional Erzgebirge woodcraft, but also expands its product range with creative and modern licenses. Following the success of Pumuckl, Bibi Blocksberg is another highlight – a must-have for all fans of the little witch, young and old!
From mashed potatoes to wood art: Why Bibi Blocksberg put a spell on WEIGLA
Bibi Blocksberg, real name Brigitte, is a 13-year-old little witch created by Austrian author Elfie Donnelly. She became famous through the KIDDINX label, which produced the popular Bibi radio plays and later animated films. The surname "Blocksberg" refers to the old name of the Brocken mountain in the Harz Mountains, which is traditionally associated with witches and magic.
Bibi loves to be out and about with her broom, Potato Mash, doing wild loops and getting up to all sorts of mischief. But Bibi doesn't just have nonsense on her mind: She has a big heart and courageously fights against injustice and discrimination. At school, she likes almost all subjects – except math.
